We are currently seeking a Civil Drafter with expertise in infrastructure design. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in civil drafting, particularly in stormwater designs, utility layouts, grading, and drainage designs. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the advancement of infrastructure solutions. Responsibilities: Lead the drafting and design efforts for civil infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications. Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to develop comprehensive design plans and construction documents. Utilize advanced drafting software, such as AutoCAD, to produce detailed drawings and layouts. Conduct site visits and surveys to gather essential data for design development and validation. Perform calculations and analysis to support design decisions and compliance with regulatory standards. Review and incorporate feedback from clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders into design revisions. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior drafting team members, fostering their professional development. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil drafting, with a focus on infrastructure design or 1-3 years civil drafting experience with EIT Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software. Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, particularly in stormwater management, utility layouts, grading, and drainage. Experience with wood structures. Familiarity with regulatory standards and codes governing civil infrastructure projects. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Proven track record of delivering high-quality work on schedule and within budget constraints.
